Tato práce se zabývá významem pěstounské rodiny z pohledu jedinců, kteří v dlouhodobé pěstounské péči vyrůstali. Teoretická část práce se zabývá systémem náhradní rodinné péče a vývojem pěstounské péče v České republice. Dále se věnuje již dospělému jedinci, který prošel pěstounskou péčí. This thesis solved the importance of the foster families from the perspective of individuals who are growing in the foster care. The theoretical part of the thesis analysed the system of the substitute family education and development of the foster care in the Czech Republic.
