Although using the Letter of Credit has a long tradition as a payment instrument, many Czech exporters and importers do not use it much often and it is not so popular. Subconsciousness of Czech exporters about benefits flowing from using the Letter of Credit as a possibility of payment and also as a covering instrument is wanting.
