Táto práca pojednáva o vplyve baskičtiny na španielčinu, ktorou sa hovorí v jednej z autonómnych oblastí Španielska, v Baskicku. Prvá časť práce sa venuje teoretickému výkladu rôznych sociolingvistických fenoménov, ktoré vznikajú ako dôsledok kontaktu medzi dvoma jazykmi.
