Motif of water in Jan Čep's short stories
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá motivem vody a jeho projevy v povídkové próze Jana Čepa. Na vybraných povídkách tyto projevy analyzuje, všímá si formy, v jaké se motiv vody objevuje, a popisuje jeho zapojení mezi hlavní motivy Čepovy poetiky tj. motiv smrti, dvojího domova a sounáležitosti. Stěžejní část práce je tvořena interpretací zvolených povídek. Závěr shrnuje poznatky, které byly interpretací zjištěny.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the motif of water and its manifestation in Jan Čep's short stories. The manifestations are analysed in the specific short stories. The analysis pays close attention to the form in which the motif of water is revealed, and it describes its connection to the main motifs of Čep's poetics, i.e. the motif of death, dual home, and solidarity.
