The Implementation of Workflow System of Business Process Management in Business Domain

Abstract:

Cílem disertační práce je navrhnout model implementace technologií RPA (robotické procesní automatizace) do podniku. Pro naplnění cíle práce je proveden výzkum pomocí případové studie a narativní výzkum. Primárně kvalitativní data získané skrze otevřené i polo-strukturované rozhovory se zpracovávají tematickou analýzou, sloužící pro zmapování fází, klíčových aktivit a kritických faktorů úspěchu implementačních projektů. Výstupy z výzkumu jsou využity při návrhu modelu zohledňující implementační přístup jako důležité vstupní kritérium. Rovněž je model koncipován do dvou úrovní – úroveň Proof of Concept/Pilot a úrovně životního cyklu RPA. Model je popsán ve struktuře dané dílčími výzkumnými otázkami a ke každému kritickému faktoru úspěchu jsou přiděleny sebe-evaluační kritéria.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to propose the model of implementation of RPA technology into the company. To fulfill the aim of the thesis the research is conducted with the use of case study research and narrative inquiry. There is a thematic analysis carried out on the primary qualitative data obtained through in-depth and semi-structured interviews to map out phases, key activities and critical success factors of implementation projects. Outputs from the research are used for a model proposition that takes into account the difference in implementation approach as an important entry criterion. The model is also conceived into two levels – first Proof of Concept/Pilot level and second RPA life-cycle level. The model is described with the structure which is defined with the partial research questions and for every critical success factor there are a self-evaluative criteria assigned.
