Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti mikroúvěrů splnit vysoká očekávání, která jsou s nimi spjata v souvislosti s řešením chudoby. The main goal of this paper is to analyse the capability of microcredit to meet the expectations of poverty reduction in the world. Firstly, these expectations are demonstrated and rationalised on the case of Grameen Bank.
