Pratchett for Young Readers: Translation Analysis of Selected Texts with Software for Lexical Analysis
Abstract:
Terry Pratchett je kromě série "Úžasná Zeměplocha" také autorem dětských knih, které do češtiny přeložili Jan Kantůrek a Helena Hrychová. Vybrané texty z těchto knih byly analyzovány pomocí speciálního softwaru. Použitím softwaru pro lexikální analýzu se usnadní a zobjektivní analýza překladu, což umožňuje nový pohled na překlad jako umělecké dílo.
Abstract:
Terry Pratchett is the author of children's books, beside the "Discworld Series". These books were translated into Czech by Jan Kantůrek and Helena Hrychová. Selected texts of these books were analysed with software for lexical analysis, which makes the translation analysis easier and more objective. This enables a new view of translation as a work of art.
