Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výukou čtení anglických autentických a neautentických textů pro žáky angličtiny úrovně intermediate. Práce začíná teoretickou částí, která se zabývá faktory procesu výuky čtení jako čtení s porozuměním, techniky čtení v cizím jazyce nebo výběrem vhodných textů k výuce čtení a dále rozdíly mezi autentickými a neautentickými texty.
