The thesis deals with the utilization of the first responder system in the Czech Republic. A first responder is a trained individual who provides first aid upon request from the emergency medical dispatch center and is capable of intervening rapidly with a person in immediate life-threatening danger before the emergency medical service unit can physically reach the scene.
