Cieľom tejto produktovej bakalárskej práce je vytvoriť dokumentárny film o význame športového karate pri výchove mládeže a podať jeho súčasný stav v Slovenskej republike. Praktický výstup, dokumentárne dielo s názvom Kohai, je v písomnej časti bakalárskej práce vymedzený teóriou dokumentárneho filmu, metodologickými a novinárskymi postupmi, audiovizuálnou dramaturgiou a strihovou skladbou.
