Cílem této práce bylo zjistit, zdali se v budoucnu může Nová demokratická strana (NDP) stát tzv. zprostředkovatelskou stranou (brokerage party). Práce nejprve představuje čtenáři charakteristiku zprostředkovatelské strany a posléze mu představuje historii NDP. Následuje představení jednotlivých federálních voleb od roku 2003. The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to find out whether New Democratic Party (NDP) has a potential to become a brokerage party. Firstly thesis introduces a characteristic of brokerage party and then it presents a brief outline of the history of NDP. Then the thesis continues with every single federal election since 2003.
