Use of magnesium fertilizers in winter rape nutrition

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo posoudit vliv aplikace hořečnatých hnojiv na výnos a olejnatost řepkového semene. U zkoumaných hnojiv se posuzoval také vliv lokalit a termínů aplikace. Pokus byl proveden formou maloparcelního polního pokusu ve Vranovicích a ve Vatíně. První termín aplikace hořečnatých hnojiv byl na podzim, kdy byly porosty přihnojeny hnojivy Kieserit (37,5 kg/ha MgO) a MgS Lovo 1 (26 kg/ha MgO). Stejné varianty byly založeny i ve druhém zkoumaném termínu, tedy na jaře. V jarním termínu byla navíc založena varianta MgS Lovo 1 v nižší dávce (20 kg/ha MgO). Celý pokus byl poznamenán jarními suchými měsíci, které ovlivnily jak výnos, tak olejnatost. Z hlediska výnosu ani olejnatosti nebyl zjištěn statisticky průkazný rozdíl u varianty hnojení. Nejvyššího výnosu 2,5 t/ha dosáhla varianta MgS Lovo 1 aplikovaná na podzim. Oproti kontrolní variantě se jednalo o nárůst 7,2 %. Nejvyšší olejnatost byla zaznamenána u varianty bez aplikace hořečnatých hnojiv. Statistický rozdíl byl zjištěn při posouzení vlivu faktoru lokalita na dosaženou olejnatost, kdy vyššího obsahu (44,6 %) dosáhla lokalita Vatín v porovnání s Vranovicemi (41,1 %).

Abstract:

The aim of this work was to examine the effect of the application of magnesium fertilizers on the yield and oil content of rapeseed. The influence of different localities and application dates were also assessed for the investigated fertilizers. The experiment was established on two different experimental stations in the form of a small-plot field experiment in Vranovice and Vatín. The examined Mg fertilizers were applied in autumn and in spring with the goal to determine which application date suits the oilseed rape better. The first fertilization in autumn was performed with Kieserite (37.5 kg/ha MgO) and MgS Lovo 1 (26 kg/ha MgO). The identic variants were established in the second examined period, in the spring. In addition, a variant based on a lower dose of MgS Lovo 1 fertilizer (20 kg/ha MgO) was also established in the spring. There were no statistical differences between examined variants of fertilizations in terms of yield and oil content of seed, as the experiment was influenced by drought period during spring. The highest yield 2.5 t/ha was achieved by the MgS Lovo 1 variant applied in the autumn. Compared to the control variant, it was an increase by 7.2 %. The highest oil content was provided by the variant without the application of magnesium fertilizers. There was a statistical difference between examined localities in terms of oil content, as the locality Vatín provided a statistical higher oil content in comparison with Vranovice.
