Diplomová práce se zabývá kriminalistickou balistikou, jejím postavením a významem mezi kriminalistickými technikami. V práci je řešen pojem kriminalistické balistiky, její dělení a uplatnění v praxi. V druhé části práce se zabývám vlastní podstatou balistických stop, jejich vznikem, výskytem, vyhledáváním a zajišťováním.
