První překlad J. B. Šubera byl vydán v roce 1939. Další následoval v roce 1970 jako společné dílo Jaroslavy a Jiřího Poberových. The thesis analyses figurative language features - metaphors, personifications and similes - employed in Daphne du Maurier's novel Rebecca and its Czech translations (all titled Mrtvá a živá). The first one, by J. B. Šuber, was published in 1939. The next followed in 1970 as a joint work of Jaroslava and Jiří Pobers but the thesis works mostly with its newer version, published under the name of Jaroslava …more
