Security features of currency

Abstract:

Teoretická část bakalářské práce je věnována jednotlivým ochranným prvkům českých bankovek, eurobankovek, historii a funkci bankovek a jejich padělaní. Cílem práce je zkoumat a popsat jednotlivé ochranné prvky platidel a specifikovat způsoby padělaní peněz. V praktické části práce zjišťuji dotazníkovým šetřením znalosti obyvatel ČR o ochranných prvcích platidel a jejich schopnosti k rozpoznání pravé bankovky od padělku. Vlastní text práce je rozdělen do úvodu, čtyř kapitol, dotazníku a závěru. První kapitola je zaměřena historii bankovek a funkci peněz, druhá má za úkol seznámit čtenáře s jednotlivými ochrannými prvky českých bankovek, třetí kapitola se zabývá ochrannými prvky eurobankovek a euromincí a čtvrtá je věnována historii padělaní, současnému padělaní a napodobení ochranných prvků české měny.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the individual security features of Czech banknotes, euro banknotes, the history and function of banknotes and their counterfeiting. The aim of the work is to examine and describe the individual security features of currency and to specify the methods of counterfeiting money. In the practical part of the work, I use a questionnaire survey to find out the knowledge of the population of the Czech Republic about the security features of currency and their ability to recognize a genuine banknote from a counterfeit. The actual text of the thesis is divided into an introduction, four chapters, a questionnaire and a conclusion. The first chapter focuses on the history of banknotes and the function of money, the second is to acquaint readers with the various security features of Czech banknotes, the third chapter deals with the security features of euro banknotes and coins and the fourth is devoted to the history of counterfeiting, current counterfeiting and imitation of the security features of the Czech currency.
