A Methodological Guide on the Work with an Electronic Book Reader

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Metodický kurz práce s elektronickou čtečkou knih se v úvodu zabývá vznikem a vývojem písma a historií knihy, potažmo učebnice, která je zásadní didaktickou pomůckou od počátku lidstva až po dnešní moderní dobu, a s tematikou elektronických čteček knih úzce souvisí. Popsán je pojem učebnice ze současného pedagogického hlediska, její význam, funkce a struktura. V hlavní části je pak vymezen pojem elektronické čtečky knih, popsán její vývoj a historie. Dále jsou rozebrány technické parametry a příklady tvůrčí práce s touto pomůckou a popsány výhody a nevýhody, které toto zařízení přináší. Zmíněny jsou také způsoby vytváření učebních textů ve formátu vhodném pro zobrazení v elektronických čtečkách. Závěrečnou část tvoří dotazníkový průzkum, zaměřen na pohledy současných žáků a učitelů středních škol na toto moderní zařízení a jeho budoucnost v českém školství.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis A Methodological Guide on the Work with an Electronic Book Reader in the introduction deals with the origin and development of writing and history books, hence the textbook, which is a major teaching tool since the beginning of humankind to today's modern times, as the theme of electronic book readers are closely linked. The concept of the current textbook pedagogical point of view, its meaning, function and structure is described. In the main part is then defined the concept of electronic book reader, and described its development and history. Further technical specifications and examples of creative work with this tool are discussed and the advantages and disadvantages that this device delivers are described. Mentioned are also ways of creating textbooks in a format suitable for display in electronic readers. The final part consists of a questionnaire survey focused on views of current students and secondary school teachers on the modern equipment and its future in the Czech educational system.
