The physioterapy of clients with progressive lateral sclerosis

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce je Fyzioterapie u klientky s progresivní laterální sklerózou. Cílem práce je přispět k řešení problematiky výběru vhodných fyzioterapeutických postupů, konceptů a metod u vybraného pacienta s progresivní laterální sklerózou. V teoretické části práce se zabývám anatomií nervového systému, motorickým systémem a řízením pohybu, diagnostikou, etiologií a klinické projevy PLS a na závěr fyzioterapeutické postupy a koncepty, které je možné použít při fyzioterapii pacienta s PLS. Hlavní část praktická je zaměřena na konkrétního pacienta, jeho vyšetření a z něj vyplývající rehabilitační plán s přesnými postupy cviků využitých při cvičení s danou pacientkou s PLS. V závěrečné kapitole práce hodnotím výsledky stavu pacienta po průběhu rehabilitace a na závěr je porovnávám s dosud provedenými studiemi.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is The physiotherapy of clients with progressive lateral sclerosis. The objective of the thesis is a contribution of solving the problems of selecting appropriate physiotherapeutic procedures, concepts and methods in selected patient with progressive lateral sclerosis. In the theoretical part of the thesis I deal with anatomy of the nervous system, motoric system and the motion control, diagnostic, etiology and clinical manifestations of PLS and for the end a physiotherapeutic procedures and concepts, which can be used to physiotherapy of patient with PLS. The main part of the thesis is focused on practical research and working with one particular patient, her examination and resulting therefore plan of rehabilitation with specific procedures exercises utilized during exercise with the patient with PLS.
