Geomorphological map of Ostrava Zoo

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje geomorfologickému mapování zoo Ostrava a následnému popisu mapovaných tvarů. Lokalita se nachází poblíž centra města, a přesto si toto území dokázalo zachovat jedinečný přírodní ráz. K mapování bylo využito zařízení GPS a následné přenesení zjištěných dat do mapy probíhalo v prostředí ArcGIS Pro. V první části práce je obecná charakteristika území, detailně popsána metodika práce sběru dat, geomorfologického mapování a samotné tvorby výsledné mapy. V druhé části se práce věnuje popisu mapovaných tvarů. V průběhu mapování byly odebrány vzorky sedimentů a byl vytvořen krátký atlas hornin a minerálů, které se zde mohou nacházet. Součástí této práce je zpracovaná geomorfologická mapa a atlas hornin/minerálů ve formě příloh.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to geomorphological mapping zoo Ostrava and subsequent description of mapped forms. this locality is located near the centrum of city and still this area has managed preserve its unique natural character. For mapping was used a GPS device, subsequent transfer of detected data to the map took place in ArcGIS Pro. The first part of this thesis contains general characteristcs of the area, describes in detail the methodology of data collection, geomorphological mapping and the creation of the resulting map. The second part dedicated describe to mapped forms. During the mapping were taken samples of sediments and was created short atlas of rocks and minerals that are represented there. This thesis contains processed geomorphological map and the atlas of rocks and minerals as an attachment.
