Tato práce se věnuje ověření využitelnosti geografického informačního systému, jako nástroje pro mapování rizik na územně samosprávním celku. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy, které se pojí s problematikou mapování rizik. This thesis focused on verifying of the utility of the geographic information system as a tool for risk mapping for the territorial self-governing unit. In the theoretical part are defined basic concepts that are connected with the issue of risk mapping.
