Abstract:

Tematem niniejszej pracy dyplomowej jest estetyka socrealizmu i jej recepcja w przypadku powojennej literatury Śląska Cieszyńskiego. Praca składa się z czterech samodzielnych rozdziałów. Pierwszy z nich koncentruje się na podstawowych kwestiach dotyczących socrealizmu, obejmujących jego genezę, charakterystykę, oddziaływanie na poszczególne dziedziny sztuki, jak i kres. Drugi rozdział dotyka pobieżnie sytuacji politycznej, gospodarczej i społecznej, panującej na Śląsku Cieszyńskim w latach 1848-1948, z dodatkowym uwzględnieniem zjawisk i tendencji charakterystycznych dla tamtejszej twórczości literackiej, kluczowych do zrozumienia jej dalszych losów. Trzeci rozdział na przykładzie sylwetek kilku wybranych autorów oraz szczegółowej analizy i interpretacji wydanych przez nich dzieł przybliża proces implementacji tychże założeń na gruncie literatury cieszyńskiej. Czwarty rozdział dodatkowo dokonuje refleksji na temat stosunku tejże estetyki do sfery ludowej. W piątym, ostatnim już rozdziale przedstawiony jest konspekt lekcji do nauki omawianego tematu w szkole średniej. Praca oparta jest na solidnym materiale źródłowym, nie mniej jednak zawiera też komentarze i dygresje, w których autor pozwolił sobie na przedstawienie własnych, niekoniecznie bezstronnych, opinii.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the artistic doctrine of socialist realism on post-war literature cultivated in the territory of Cieszyn Silesia by the local Polish national minority. It consists of five chapters. The first chapter briefly summarizes the most important features and the process of the emergence and development of this artistic doctrine within diverse artistic disciplines. The second chapter describes the overall political, social and economic situation prevailing in Cieszyn Silesia in the period of 1848-1948; it particularly focuses on factors that largely facilitated the adoption and acceptance of this doctrine, both by intellectual circles and by wider layers of the population. The third chapter provides a brief description of the fates of selected representatives of this trend in post-war literature in Cieszyn Silesia, followed by a thorough analysis and interpretation of several selected works of poetry and prose, in which the influence of socialist realism can be suitably demonstrated. The fourth chapter outlines the relationship between socialist realism and the folk culture of the lower strata of the population, which can also be well illustrated on the example of the region of Cieszyn Silesia. The fifth and final chapter additionally presents a learning unit diagram for teaching the mentioned topic at secondary school. The thesis draws from many diverse sources, also containing passages in which the author does not refrain from expressing his own opinions and viewpoints, which are not always completely impartial and objective.
