Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of politeness in political interviews of two European countries, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Czech Republic. First, there are outlined and explained the theories which were used in the analysis including the critical discourse analysis, the political discourse and the theory of politeness and impoliteness. Then the analysis itself follows as well as the presentation of the polite and impolite phenomena that occur in the interviews. The identical and different features of both countries result from the analysis.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou zdvořilosti v politických rozhovorech dvou evropských zemí, Spojeného království a České republiky. Nejprve jsou nastíněny a vysvětleny teorie, které byly při analýze použity, zahrnující kritickou analýzu diskurzu, politický diskurz a teorii zdvořilosti a nezdvořilosti. Dále následuje samotná analýza jednotlivých rozhovorů a představení zdvořilostních a nezdvořilostních jevů, které se v rozhovorech vyskytují. Z analýzy vyplývají shodné i odlišné rysy v politických rozhovorech obou zemí.
