V této práci je nejprve popsána problematika ontologií a sémantického webu. Následně je popsáno objektově orientované programování a jazyk UML, jakožto představitel jazyka pro objektově orientované modelování. Potom je popsána myšlenka modelování systémů pomocí vlastností.
