Analysis of the Effectiveness of Retraining Courses in the Selected Employment Office

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na efektivnost rekvalifikačních kurzů na vybraném Úřadu práce, přičemž pro tuto bakalářskou práci byl vybrán Úřad práce ve Zlíně. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zabývá problematikou trhu práce, nezaměstnaností a státní politice zaměstnanosti. Jedna samotná kapitola je věnována rekvalifikacím, co to je samotná rekvalifikace, kdo je oprávněn provádět rekvalifikace a kdo se může zúčastnit. Následně v praktické části byl proveden výzkum pomocí interních dat Úřadu práce a rozhovoru s pracovníky, kteří zprostředkovávají rekvalifikace, pro doplnění úplných údajů. Díky poskytnutým informacím bylo možné určit, jestli rekvalifikace skutečně fungují jako účinný prostředek aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti a přináší výhody lidem registrovaným na Úřadu práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the effectiveness of retraining courses at the selected Labour Office, and for this bachelor thesis the Labour Office in Zlín was chosen. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with labour market issues, unemployment and state employment policy. One chapter alone is devoted to retraining, what is retraining itself, who is entitled to carry out retraining and who can participate. Subsequently, in the practical part, research was conducted using internal data from the Labour Office and interviews with workers who facilitate retraining to complete the full data. With the information provided, we were able to determine whether retraining actually works as an effective means of active employment policy and brings benefits to people registered with the Labour Office.
