Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá současnou kartografickou tvorbou se zaměřením na demografii. Soustředí se na dostupné datové zdroje, především v elektronickém prostředí. Dále práce hodnotí doposud vydaná mapová díla a jejich způsoby kartografického znázornění. Podle odborné literatury a tematických atlasů navrhuje metody vizualizace demografických dat, které jsou následně aplikovány v podobě vytvoření série demografických map Jihomoravské kraje.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with current cartographic production with a focus on demographics. It is concerned with available data sources, particularly in the electronic environment. The thesis also reviews hitherto published map series and their methods of cartographic representation. Based on previous academic work and thematic atlases it suggests methods of demographic data visualization which are then applied in the form of a series of demographic maps of the South Moravian region.
