Development of Methodology and Current Possibilities of Historical Building Research in a Village.

Abstract:

Cílem disertační práce je přispět k diskusi o metodě a potřebě plošného stavebněhistorického průzkumu vesnice. Předkládaná práce navazuje na metodiku vytvořenou v druhé polovině dvacátého století ve Státním ústavu pro památkové rekonstrukce měst a objektů (SURPMO) a snaží se za racionálního využití písemných pramenů a interdisciplinárního přístupu zefektivnit tuto složitou a náročnou činnost. Nedílnou součást práce tvoří tři příklady realizovaných průzkumů vesnic (Mravín, Vysoká, Hrušová), na kterých si lze ukázat současné možnosti průzkumů a jejich využití. Plošné průzkumy vesnice představují komplexní poznání sídla, které lze při zájmu společnosti úspěšně využít k ochraně tradičního obrazu našich vesnic.

Abstract:

The doctoral thesis focuses on methodology and requirement of historical building research in a village. This thesis builds on the methodology of the State Institute for Historical Monument Reconstruction (SÚRPMO) in the second half of the twentieth century and tries to make process of research more efficient with a rational use of written sources and an interdisciplinary approach. An integral part of the thesis consists of three examples of realized historical building research in villages (Mravín, Vysoká, Hrušová), which show the current possibilities of research and their use. historical building research in a village represent a complex knowledge of the settlement and history that can be used successfully to protect the traditional image of our villages.
