Pupil´s communication fear and the classroom climate

Abstract:

Práce zjišťuje, jaký vliv má subjektivně vnímané školní klima na komunikační ostýchavost žáků. Práce zkoumá rozdíly mezi subjektivním vnímáním klimatu u dostupného výběru respondentů, věnuje se též rozdílům v komunikační ostýchavosti u žáků vybraných škol. Výzkum se zaměřuje na žáky čtvrtých tříd základních škol. V teoretické části práce se vymezují základní pojmy, které jsou v diplomové práci používány, jedná se zejména o školní klima a třídní klima, zde se práce zaměřuje na popis pozitivního klimatu školy i třídy, dále pak na faktory, které klima ovlivňují. Jako další práce popisuje komunikaci, zvláště komunikaci pedagogickou. Závěr teoretické části je věnován komunikačním bariérám se zaměřením na komunikační ostýchavost. V praktické části práce popisuje metodologii výzkumu, věnuje se informacím o průběhu sběru dat a nástrojům výzkumného šetření. Na základě výsledků diplomové práce nemá subjektivní vnímání klimatu školní třídy vliv na komunikační ostýchavost žáka.

Abstract:

The thesis searches for the answer whether and to what extent is pupils' communication fear influenced by subjectively perceived classroom discourse. The thesis deals with subjective differences in perception of classroom discourse and pays attention to differences in individuals' communication fear. Respondents of the work are fourth graders at elementary school. In the theoretical part I define basic terminology of the whole work. I mainly focus on school environment and classroom discourse. Within this part I describe positive school environment and factors influencing it. Next section defines communication in general and pedagogical communication per se. The conclusion is dedicated to berries of effective communication and especially to communication anxiety. In the practical part the methodology of my research is described. It offers information about the process of data collection and the research tools used during the process. Based on the research results the subjective perception of classroom discourse has no impact on the pupils' communication fear and anxiety.
