Current study deals with the theme of African-American Civil Rights Movement in the previous century. It is focused on the events of 1954-1968, when the Negroes fight against racial discrimination peaked. Tato práce se zabývá tématem boje za lidská práva v Americe v minulém století. Konkrétně je zaměřena na období v letech 1954-1968, kdy vyvrcholil boj afroameričanů proti rasové segregaci. Teoretická část obsahuje deskripci klíčových historických událostí,seznam tehdejších organizací a biografii ústředních osobností hnutí.
