Influence of local application of fertilizers on maize yield

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci byl hodnocen vliv lokální aplikace hnojiv na výnos kukuřice. Maloparcelkový pokus byl založen v Žabčicích na pokusné stanici Mendelovy univerzity v Brně v hospodářském roce 2020-2021. Použitými hnojivy byly NP hnojivo (NP), NPK hnojivo (NPK), NPK hnojivo se zeolitem (NPK ZEO), močovina s inhibitorem nitrifikace (IN) a s inhibitorem ureázy (IU) a močovina. Byl porovnáván rozdíl výnosu zrna kukuřice mezi těmito zkoumanými variantami hnojení (podzimní + jarní aplikace): 1. nehnojeno + močovina na široko, 2. NP + močovina s IN a IU do depa, 3. NPK + močovina s IN a IU do depa, 4. NP + močovina s IN a IU na široko, 5. NPK + močovina s IN a IU na široko, 6. NPK ZEO + močovina s IN a IU na široko. Byl zkoumán vliv na výnos z pohledu všech variant hnojení a separátně byl posuzován rozdíl mezi podzimní aplikací hnojiv (NP a NPK) a byl posouzen také vliv technologie aplikace hnojiv (na široko, do depa). Mezi jednotlivými variantami hnojení byl zjištěn průkazný rozdíl, nejvyšší výnos vykazovala varianta 3 (NPK + močovina s IN a IU do depa), a to o 85 % vyšší oproti kontrolní variantě 1. Statisticky vysoce průkazný rozdíl byl prokázán i při porovnávání NPK a NP hnojiv. Varianta s podzimní aplikací NP hnojiva byla o 29 % méně výnosná než varianta s aplikací NPK hnojiva. Rozdíl mezi technologií hnojení na široko a do depa byl statisticky neprůkazný.

Abstract:

The effect of local fertilizer application on maize yield was assessed in the bachelor thesis. The small-plot experiment was established in Žabčice at the experimental station of Mendel University in Brno in the vegetation season 2019-2020. The fertilizers used were NP fertilizer (NP), NPK fertilizer (NPK), NPK fertilizer with zeolite (NPK ZEO), urea with a nitrification inhibitor (IN) and with urease inhibitor (IU), and urea. The difference in maize grain yield between the following fertilization variants (autumn +spring application) was compared: 1. not fertilized + broadcasting urea, 2. NP + urea with IN and IU to the depth, 3. NPK + urea with IN and IU to the depth, 4. NP + broadcasting urea with IN and IU, 5. NPK + broadcasting urea with IN and IU, 6. NPK ZEO + broadcasting urea with IN and IU. The influence on the yield from the point of view of all fertilization variants was examined and the difference between the autumn application of fertilizers (NP and NPK) was measured separately, and the influence of the fertilizer application technology (broadcasting, to the depth) was also assessed. When comparing all variants together, a significantly difference was demonstrated, the highest yield was shown by the NPK + urea variant with IN and IU to the depth, by 85 % higher compared to the first variant. A statistically highly significant difference was also demonstrated when comparing NPK and NP fertilizers. The NP variant was 29 % less profitable than the NPK variant. The difference between broadcasting and to the depth fertilization technology was statistically inconclusive.
