Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou tvaru pomocí hierarchických reprezentací, za účelem jeho zjednodušení. Zvláště je zkoumáno využití geodetických metrik a jejich možné využití při zjednodušování tvaru. Součástí práce je také popsání jednotlivých pojmů týkajících se geodetických metrik jako je propagační funkce nebo geodetické centrum. This bachelor thesis deals with shape analysis using hierarchical representations in order to simplify it. In particular, the use of geodesic metrics and their possible use in shape simplification is investigated.
