Automation of the development process on Xamarin platform

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je automatizovat procesy mobilního vývoje na platformě Xamarin, a to zejména s důrazem na oblasti verzování, kontroly kvality a testování zdrojového kódu ve firmě A-WebSys spol. s r.o. V první části práce jsou představeny termíny spojeny s automatizací procesů a platformou Xamarin. Ve druhé části práce je popsána analýza vývojových procesů v této firmě a všech dalších oblastí potřebných k pochopení problematiky a následnému vytvoření návrhu řešení, které je také součástí této části. V závěrečné třetí části práce je představena implementace praktického řešení společně s vyhodnocením, do jaké míry se ho podařilo ve firmě integrovat a jaký je jeho přínos.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis is to automate the mobile development processes on Xamarin platform, especially with the focus on the source code versioning, quality control and testing in company A-WebSys spol. s r.o. In the first part of the thesis, terms associated with process automation and Xamarin platform are presented. The second part describes the analysis of the development processes in this company and all other areas needed to understand the issue and then to form a solution design which is also included in this section. In the final part of the thesis, the practical solution implementation is presented together with the evaluation of the extent to which it has been integrated within the company, and its overall contribution.
