Proposal to Improve the Financial Performance of the Selected Company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou finanční výkonnosti společnosti GUFEX v letech 2019 až 2023 a sestavením návrhu opatření, vedoucímu ke zvýšení finanční výkonnosti této společnosti. V závislosti na teoretických východiscích je v praktické části zpracována analýza vnějšího prostředí společnosti, analýza vnitřního prostředí společnosti a finanční analýza pomocí klasických a moderních ukazatelů. Ze zpracovaných analýz a komunikace s vedením společnosti vyšlo najevo, že vhodným opatřením ke zvýšení finanční výkonnosti je investici do výroby, konkrétně nákup nového lisu na hokejové puky. V rámci praktické části je zmíněné opatření navrženo a ke zvýšení finanční výkonosti dochází, mimo jiné, díky zvýšení kapacity a efektivity výroby. V závěru práce je navržené opatření vyhodnoceno, včetně analýzy rizik, nákladů a přínosů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the financial performance of the GUFEX company in the years 2019 to 2023 and the creation of a proposal for measures leading to an increase in the financial performance of this company. In addition to the theoretical basics, in the practical part is an analysis of the company's external environment, an analysis of the company's internal environment and a financial analysis using classic and modern indicators performed. From the processed analyzes and communication with the company's management, it became clear that an appropriate measure to increase financial performance is an investment in production, specifically the purchase of a new press for hockey pucks. As part of the practical part, the mentioned measure is proposed and the financial performance is increased thanks to, among other things, the increase in production capacity and efficiency. At the end of the thesis, the proposed measure is evaluated, including an analysis of risks, costs and benefits.
