The influence of a financial advisor on the financial security of households in Ústí nad Labem

Abstract:

Prací finančního poradce je optimalizace finanční situace a zajištění klienta. Bohužel v dnešní době je finanční poradenství spojeno často se špatnými zkušenostmi a nedobrou pověstí. Cílem práce je zjištění současných postojů obyvatel Ústí nad Labem a klientů společnosti 4fin Better together a.s. na práci finančních poradců pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Získaná data byla zpracována frekvenční analýzou a dále neparametrickými metodami, jako jsou např. Chí-kvadrát test nezávislosti, Mann-Whitneův test, Kruskal-Wallisův test či Friedmanův test. Práci je možné využít jako potvrzení poslání práce finančních poradců a zároveň může pomoci klientům k odstranění pochyb o finančním poradenství a povede k navázání spolupráce.

Abstract:

The job of a financial advisor is to optimize the financial situation and security of the client. Unfortunately, nowadays financial advice is often associated with bad experiences and a bad reputation. The aim of this paper is to find out the current attitudes of the residents of Ústí nad Labem and clients of 4fin Better together a.s. on the work of financial advisors by means of a questionnaire survey. The collected data was worked by frequency analysis and also by non-parametric methods such as Chi-square test of independence, Mann-Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis's test or Friedman test. The work can be used as an affirmation of the mission of the work of financial advisors and can also help clients to remove doubts about financial advice and lead to the establishment of cooperation.
