Phenomenology of Embodiment and Phenomenological Conception of Performativity

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší fenomenologii tělesnosti v rámci pojetí jejího zakladatele Edmunda Husserla a také Maurice Merleau-Pontyho. Ve stěžejní 1. kapitole se zabývá fenomenologickými texty Edmunda Husserla a pokrývá témata intencionality, evidence, fenomenologické ideje a také konstituce přírody a těla. Ve 2. kapitole pak Mauricem Merleau-Pontym a fenomenologií vnímání, tělem a tělesností. V rámci práce byl proveden extenzivní průzkum bibliografie od autorů E. Husserla a M. Merleau-Pontyho týkající se témat fenomenologie tělesnosti a dále bibliografií zabývající se tématy fenomenologie divadla, expresivity, gest a tělesného projevu v oblasti divadla. Autor na základě průzkumu sestavil systém kapitol popisující vybrané fenomenologické prvky a témata, které úzce souvisí s fenomenologií tělesnosti. Součástí práce mělo být prokázání a popsání návazností mezi fenomenologií tělesnosti E. Husserla a M. Merleau-Pontyho a její transformace ve fenomenologický koncept performativity pomocí fenomenologie divadla. Provedeným průzkumem a popisem v kapitolách 1 a 2 bylo prokázáno že výzkum souvislostí a návazností fenomenologií tělesnosti popsaných E. Husserlem a M. Merleau-Pontym a fenomenologického konceptu performativity je disciplínou obsahově a metodicky vhodnou pro formát diplomové či dizertační práce.

Abstract:

This thesis concentrates on phenomenology of embodiment in the means of its founding father Edmund Husserl and also Maurice Merleau-Ponty. It focusses in the key first chapter on phenomenological texts of Edmund Husserl and covers the topics of intencionality, evidence, phenomenological ideas and also constitution of nature and body. Second chapter depicts phenomenology of perception, body and embodiment. Thesis framework is based on extensive survey of bibliography of E. Husserl and M. Merleau-Ponty which aims on phenomenology of embodiment and bibliography depicting phenomenology of theatre, expressivity, gestures a body language in the theatrical environment. Author assembles the system of chapters based on his former research that describes phenomenological elements and themes, that closely relates to the phenomenology of embodiment. Constituent part of the thesis should have been demonstration and description of links between phenomenology of embodiment of E. Husserl and M. Merleau-Ponty and its transformation into a phenomenological concept of performativity through phenomenology of theatre. In the survey carried out and descripted in chapters 1 and 2 has been demonstrated that research of the connections and relations between phenomenology of embodiment described by E. Husserl and M. Merlau-Ponty and the phenomenological concept of performativity is a discipline of content and approach that is more appropriate format for master or doctoral thesis.
