Searching for, collecting and examining trasological traces of vehicles

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce uceluje problematiku vyhledávání, zajišťování a zkoumání trasologických stop se zaměřením na dopravní prostředky. Práce je členěna do dvou navazujících částí – teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části práce jsou v návaznosti na sebe logicky řazeny kapitoly tak, aby bylo možné dobře pochopil problematiku trasologie od jejího vzniku po současnou vyspělou kriminalistickou praxi. Praktická část je pojata jako experiment zaměřený na identifikaci stop dopravního prostředku – automobilu. Práce je doprovázena přílohami ve formě vlastně zpracovaných fotografií, které dopomohou ke snadnějšímu chápání obsahu práce. Veškeré teoretické poznatky diplomové práce jsou podložené českou a zahraniční odbornou literaturou, vědeckým zkoumáním a experimenty odborníků se širokým spektrem zkušeností.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is summarizing the problematics of a trasological expertise, addressing issues connected to searching for, securing and examining trasological imprints, while focusing on vehicle tracks and traces. The thesis consists of two consecutive parts – a theoretical background followed by a practical experiment. Theoretical part is logically arranged into chapters, clearly and efficiently compiling the field of trasology, from its cradle to modern, contemporary forensics practises. Practical section stands upon an experiment, concentrating on the identification of tracks of a vehicle, more precisely an automobile. The main thesis is reinforced and augmented by pictures of own making, added to the attachment section of the diploma thesis, providing a better understanding of the written content. All the theoretical knowledge used in the thesis is well-grounded in czech and/ or foreign scientific and academic texts, created by specialist in the field of forensics with a broad spectrum of professional experiences.
