The role of the teacher of French as a Foreign Language in the Czech and French education system.

Abstract:

This thesis is entitled: «The profession and the role of the teacher in Czech and French systems ». It focuses on the different perceptions of the French language (student, teacher, public). It is based on the performed analysis, it deals with specific experiences gained in teaching the French language. This work is consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part is divided into four chapters, the second part is divided into three chapters. The FLE didactic dictionary, «Pedagogical dictionary» and other sources were used for the definitions in the individual chapters, which helps to understand the given issue. The theoretical part of the first chapter defines the keyword «teacher» (teaching profession in France and then in the Czech Republic). Subsequently, both definitions are compared and differences or similarities in both concepts are analyzed. In the second chapter we present different types of learning methods. In the third chapter we define the role of a language teacher and its specifics in relation to other teachers. In the final chapter we will focus on the analysis of different concepts of teaching led by native and non-native speakers in the role of a French language teacher. The practical part of the thesis analyzes the data obtained from questionnaires that were filled out by high school students and which focus on comparing the teaching of French to native and non-native speakers. In the second half of the practical part, data from questionnaires filled out by respondents from different backgrounds are analyzed, on the basis of which we will try to interpret the public's view of the profession of "French language teacher". The results obtained and connected with our research will help us to clarify the issue in more detail.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce nese název: « Profese a role vyučujícího v českém a francouzském systému ». Věnuje se výuce francouzského jazyka na středních školách a zaměřuje se na rozdílné vnímání osoby učitele francouzského jazyka z různých úhlů pohledu (student, učitel, veřejnost). Na základě provedené analýzy se zabývá konkrétními zkušenostmi získanými při vyučování francouzského jazyka (v rámci šablony realizované MŠMT ČR a EU). Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. První část je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, druhá část se dělí na tři kapitoly. Pro definice použité v jednotlivých kapitolách byl použit didaktický slovník FLE, « Pedagogický slovník » a další prameny, které napomáhají k pochopení dané problematiky. Teoretická část první kapitoly definuje klíčové slovo « učitel ». A to nejprve pojetí profese učitele ve Francii a poté v České republice. Následně jsou obě definice porovnány a rozebrány rozdíly či naopak shody v obou pojetích. V druhé kapitole představujeme různé typy metod učení. V třetí kapitole definujeme roli učitele jazyků a jeho specifika ve vztahu k ostatním učitelům. V závěrečné kapitole se zaměříme na analýzu rozdílného pojetí výuky vedené rodilým a nerodilým mluvčím v roli učitele francouzského jazyka. Praktická část diplomové práce analyzuje data získaná z dotazníků, jež byly vyplněny studenty gymnázia a jež se zaměřují na porovnání výuky francouzského jazyka rodilým a nerodilým mluvčím. V druhé polovině praktické části jsou analyzována data z dotazníků vyplněných respondenty z odlišného prostředí, na jejichž základě se pokusíme interpretovat pohled společnosti na profesi « učitele francouzského jazyka ». Výsledky získané a spojené s naším výzkumem nám pomohou detailněji objasnit danou problematiku.
