Serf self-management on manor of Velké Žernoseky in early modern period

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je analýza vybraných aspektů poddanské samosprávy na velkostatku Velké Žernoseky. Na základě zápisních register a posudkových knih by mělo dojít k popisu této problematiky na příkladu menšího panství v prostoru raně novověkých severních Čech. Předmětem zájmu diplomové práce je také obecní společenství s akcentem k jeho představitelům. Detailněji bude dále přihlédnuto k fungování obecního soudu v jednotlivých vesnicích velkostatku. Díky poměrně specifickým přírodním podmínkám sledovaného vrchnostenského celku, jež jsou příhodné k pěstování révy vinné, bude také možné v závěru směřovat výklad k problematice vinic, jejich držbě a transferu viničních ploch v soudní a správní agendě raně novověkého velkostatku.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse selected aspects of serf self-government on the estate of Velké Žernoseky. On the basis of economic and social historical sources, this problematic should be described on the example of a smaller estate in the area of early modern northern Bohemia. The subject of interest of the diploma thesis is also a municipal community with an emphasis on its representatives. The functioning of the municipal court in the individual villages of the manor will be taken into account in more detail. Thanks to the relatively specific natural conditions of the monitored manor, which are suitable for the cultivation of vines, it will also be possible to conclude with an explanation of the problematic of vineyards, their tenure and transfer of vineyards in the judicial and administrative agenda of the early modern period estate.
