Power circuits for photomultiplier tubes used in night vision devices

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá odvětvím fotonásobičových trubic, konkrétně těm s obrazovým výstupem umožňující vidět v oblastech, kde lidské oko selhává ve tmě. První kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na seznámení se s principy funkce těchto fotonásobičových trubic a jejich druhů, následované problematikou závad a selhání funkčnosti přístrojů pro noční vidění. V závěrečných kapitolách je návrh nových elektronických obvodů, sloužící ke znovu oživení fotonásobiče.

Abstract:

This thesis addresses sector of photomultiplier tubes, specifically those with image output enabling to see in areas where the human eye fails - in the dark. First chapters focus on familiarization with the principles of the function of these photomultiplier tubes and their generations, followed by the issue of defects and failure of the night vision devices. Final chapters describe the design of new electronic circuits used to revitalize the photomultiplier tube function.
