The Old Age and Aging from the Point of View of Second Level Elementary School Children

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou staroby a starnutia očami žiakov druhého stupňa základnej školy. Teoretická časť je rozdelená do troch kapitol, ktoré popisujú obdobie pubescencie a staroby a tiež približujú kľúčové pojmy, predovšetkým postoje a vzťahy. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je zistiť pohľad respondentov na starobu, pričom sa zohľadňujú ich skúsenosti a vzťahy so seniormi, vedomosti o starobe a predstavy o postavení seniorov v spoločnosti, či o vlastnej starobe. Výsledky praktickej časti poukazujú na ich postoje k téme staroby ako takej.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is dealing with the issues of old age and aging from the point of view of the primary school students. Theoretical part is divided into three chapters that describe the period of pubescence and old age, third one approximates particularly concepts of attitudes and relationships. The main aim of the work is to find out a view of respondents on the old age, while their experiences and relationships with seniors, knowledge about old age, the ideas of seniors' position in society and the ideas of own old age are taken into account. Results of practical part refer to respondents' attitudes towards old age in general.
