Problems of pedagogical work of a beginner versus an experienced teacher of music education - a comparison of case studies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problémy pedagogické práce začínajícího versus zkušeného učitele/učitelky hudební výchovy pomocí srovnání kasuistik. Cílem této práce je zjistit a srovnat problémy začínající/ho a zkušené/zkušeného učitelky/učitele hudební výchovy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje tři kapitoly. Věnuje se osobnosti učitele hudební výchovy, obecnými pedagogickými kompetencemi a charakteristikou učitele začínajícího a zkušeného. Dále vymezuje problémy začínajícího učitele a popisuje ideálního a úspěšného učitele. Praktická část je rozdělena na čtyři oddíly. Zabývá se srovnáním začínající a zkušené učitelky na dvou základních školách druhého stupně v Moravskoslezském kraji. Výzkum je realizován pomocí tří metod. Jedná se o pozorování v hodinách hudební výchovy u začínající a zkušené učitelky hudební výchovy, strukturovaný rozhovor s oběma učitelkami a nestandardizovaný dotazník pro studenty Katedry hudební výchovy Pedagogické fakulty Ostravské univerzity. Výsledkům výzkumu jak začínající, tak i zkušené učitelky je věnována samostatná kapitola.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with problems of pedagogical work of a beginner versus an experienced music teacher by means of a comparison of case studies. The aim of this thesis is to identify and compare the problems of the beginner and experienced music teacher. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains three chapters. It deals with the personality of the music education teacher, general pedagogical competences and characteristics of the beginner and the experienced teacher. It also defines the problems of the beginner teacher and describes the ideal and successful teacher. The practical part is divided into four sections. It is based on a comparison of beginner and experienced teachers in two second-grade elementary schools in the Moravian-Silesian region. The research was carried out using three methods. These were observations in music education classes of the beginner and experienced music teacher, a structured interview with both teachers and a questionnaire for students of the Department of Music Education of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava. A separate chapter is devoted to the results of the research, both beginner and experienced teachers.
