Searching for missing children

Abstract:

The concept of missing children is no stranger to the Czech Republic. As in various other countries around the world, about 940 to 1000 children are lost and searched annually, according to statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic, for 2019/2020. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to find out what the youth’s awareness of missing children and the circumstances associated with it is. The work focuses on ways to more effectively inform young people and the public about a missing child. Although the police try to inform about cases as much as possible and work with all possible means to inform the youth and the public about the problem, unfortunately, in some cases, it is not enough. That is why the Czech Republic police, together with the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, created the National Coordination Mechanism for Searching for Missing Children project, which focuses on increasing the speed and efficiency of the search.That’s why the Czech Republic police, together with the Ministry of the Interior, created the “National Coordination Mechanism for Searching for Missing Children” project, which focuses on increasing the speed and efficiency of searches. The work consists of an introduction, a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the work is devoted to the explanation of the concepts of the search, the missing child and various laws in connection with the given topic. It also contains a sub-chapter dedicated to some projects dealing with the search for missing children. The practical part uses a questionnaire to determine the youth's knowledge of the NKMPPD. The conclusion of the bachelor's thesis contains the results of the questionnaire, various abbreviations used, a list of used literature, a list of images, etc.

Abstract:

Pojem nezvestné deti nie je Českej republike vôbec cudzí. Rovnako ako aj v rôznych iných krajinách po celom svete aj tu sa ročne stratí a hľadá, podľa štatistík, ktoré zverejnila Polícia Českej republiky, za rok 2019/2020 okolo 940 až 1000 detí. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je zistiť, aké je povedomie mládeže o nezvestných deťoch a okolnostiach s tým spojené. Práca sa zameriava na to, akými spôsobmi by mohlo byť efektívnejšie informovať mládež a verejnosť o nezvestnom dieťati. Aj keď sa polícia snaží o prípadoch informovať čo najviac a pracuje so všetkými možnými prostriedkami, s ktorými je možné o danom probléme mládež a verejnosť informovať, v niektorých prípadoch to žiaľ nestačí. Práve kvôli tomu vytvorila polícia Českej republiky spolu s Ministerstvom vnútra Českej republiky projekt „Národní koordinační mechanismus pátrání po pohřešovaných dětech“, ktorý sa zameriava na zvýšenie rýchlosti a efektivitu pátrania. Práca sa skladá z úvodu, teoretickej a praktickej časti. V teoretickej časti sa práca venuje vysvetleniu pojmom o pátraní, nezvestnom dieťati a rôznym zákonom v spojitosti s danou témou. Rovnako tak sa v nej nachádza podkapitola, ktorá sa venuje niektorým projektom ktoré sa zaoberajú pátraním po nezvestných deťoch. Praktická časť sa pomocou dotazníka venuje zisťovaniu vedomosti mládeže o NKMPPD. Záver bakalárskej práce obsahuje výsledky dotazníka, rôzne použité skratky, zoznam použitej literatúry, zoznam obrázkov a pod.
