Indirect Tax in the Tax System of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Nepřímé daně v daňové soustavě ČR“ poskytuje ucelený přehled právní regulace v oblasti nepřímých daní. Informuje o základním členění daňového systému a historickém vývoji nepřímých daní na českém území. Poukazuje na význam reformy daňového systému 2010, jejích cílů a dosažených výsledků, zejména přijetí daňového řádu a zákona o jednotném institucionálním systému. Zabývá se základními konstrukčními prvky daně z přidané hodnoty, spotřebních daní a ekologických daní. Poskytuje informace o důležitých změnách, které přinesla novela zákona o dani z přidané hodnoty s účinnosti od 1. 4. 2011 a 1. 1. 2012. Dále pak podává informace o novele zákona o spotřebních daních s účinností od 1. 4. 2011.

Abstract:

The thesis „Indirect Taxes in the Tax System of the Czech Republic”provides a comprehensive overview of legal regulations in the sphere of indirect taxes. In informs about the basic structure of the tax system and the historical development of indirect taxes of the Czech Republic. It highlights the importance of the reform tax system in 2010, as well as of its objectives and results achieved. In particular,it draws attention to the adoption of the Tax Code and the Act on the Single Institutional Framework. It deals with basic structural elements of the value added tax, excise duties and environmental taxes.The thesis also provides information regarding important changes brought about by the amendment to the Value Added Tax Act, which has been in effect since April 1, 2011 and January 1, 2012.Furthermore, the thesis informs about the amendments to the Excise Tax Act in effect since April 1, 2011.
