Management of nursing documentation in aftercare department

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vedení ošetřovatelské dokumentace na lůžkách následné péče. V teoretické části je popsána zdravotnická dokumentace jako celek, poté ošetřovatelská dokumentace, elektronizace dokumentace, oddělení následné péče a audit. Teoretickými východisky jsou zdravotnická dokumentace, ošetřovatelská dokumentace a oddělení následné péče. V poslední kapitole zmiňujeme i audit, který hraje důležitou roli v hodnocení kvality zaznamenaných informací. Praktická část byla realizována kvalitativním výzkumem, konkrétně obsahovou analýzou ošetřovatelské dokumentace na LNP ve třech nemocnicích. Zaměřujeme se na dva dokumenty, které jsou vedeny v rámci ošetřovatelské dokumentace, a sice sesterský dekurz a ošetřovatelská anamnéza a dále na analýzu hodnotících měřících nástrojů (hodnotící škály). Obsahová analýza byla doplněna šesti polostrukturovanými rozhovory s participanty. Poté data z rozhovorů byla kategorizována a následně kódována. Kvůli anonymitě dat nelze zveřejnit vybrané poskytovatele zdravotní péče, pouze je lze specifikovat jako soukromé a okresní nemocnice. Cílem bakalářské práce je komparace výsledků předem vybraných dokumentů s reálně vedenou ošetřovatelskou dokumentací na lůžkách následné péče. Výstupem bakalářské práce je interpretace výsledků managementu poskytovatelů zdravotních služeb.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the management of nursing documentation in aftercare department. The theoretical part describes the health documentation as a whole, then the nursing documentation, the management of documentation, the aftercare department and audit. The theoretical outcomes are, health documentation, nursing documentation and the aftercare department. In the last chapter, we also mention the audit, which plays an important role in assessing the quality of recorded information. The practical part was carried out by qualitative research, namely content analysis of nursing documentation at the aftercare department in three hospitals. The focus is on two documents that are maintained within the nursing documentation, namely the nurse de-course and the nursing medical history, as well as the analysis of the assessment measure-ment tools (rating scales). The content analysis was complemented by six semi-structured interviews with participants. The interview data was then categorized and subsequently coded. Due to the anonymity of the data, the selected health care providers cannot be disclosed, only specified as private and district hospitals. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the results of the preselected documents with the actual nursing records in the aftercare beds. The output of the bachelor thesis is the interpretation of the results of the management of health care providers.
