Cílem této práce je prezentovat lingvistickou situaci v Galicii, kde existuje spolu se španělštinou ještě další úřední jazyk. V první části práce vymezuji oblast, ve které je galicijština jedním z úředních jazyků a uvádím také základní demografické údaje.
