Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku přechodu žáků z 1. na 2. stupeň základních škol na příkladu anglického jazyka, zejména na příčiny neúspěchu v anglickém jazyce. Cílem práce bude analyzovat problémy přechodu žáků v rozvoji anglického jazyka. Práce bude analyzovat úroveň školní úspěšnosti žáků v anglickém jazyce z hlediska jejich dovednosti čtení s porozuměním a z hlediska jejich zájmu o tento jazyk na vzorku cca 120 respondentů. Těmi budou žáci pátých tříd na vybrané škole ve školním roce 2017/2018 a titíž žáci v následujícím školním roce 2018/2019 v třídách šestých. V úvodní části bude proveden teoretický rozbor nejčastějších příčin neúspěchu žáků na základních školách na základě rešerše odborné literatury. V empirické části bude provedeno vlastní výzkumné šetření příčin zhoršené školní úspěšnosti v anglickém jazyce, a to z hlediska dovednosti žáků při čtení s porozuměním a z hlediska zájmu žáků o tento jazyk. Součástí práce budou konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the transitiv of pupils from 1st to 2nd grade of primary schools on the example of the English language, especially on the causes of failure in English. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the problems of pupils' transition in the development of English. The work will analyze the level of pupils' school success in English in terms of the irreading skills with understanding and the irinterest in this language on a sample of about 120 respondents. These will be students of the fifth grade at a selected school in the school year 2017/2018 and the same pupils in the next school year 2018/2019 in the sixth grade. In the introductory part, a theoretical analysis of the most frequent causes of pupils' silure at elementary schools will be carried out based on a literature search. In the empirical part, there search will investigace the causes of impaired school success in the English language, in terms of pupils' reading and pupils' interest in the language. Part of the thesis will be concrete conclusions and recommendations for practice.
