Costing system as part of cost accounting of the company

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na kalkulaci nákladů v podniku a její využití při poskytování úhrad za zdravotní péči. Cílem této práce je analýza a popis metodologie pro výpočet nákladů na hospitalizační případy ve Fakultní nemocnici Brno a navrhnout případné změny. První část bakalářské práce je teoretická a zabývá se především klasifikací nákladů, členěním nákladů a nákladovým kalkulacím. V druhé části je detailně popsán postup pro výpočet nákladů za hospitalizační zdravotní péči. Je zde uveden způsob alokace nákladů na případ, který byl implementován ve Fakultní nemocnici Brno. Výpočet těchto nákladů je důležitý v rámci změn v úhradových mechanismech a mění přístup k poskytování zdravotní péče. Zdravotnické zařízení by mělo tedy znát skutečnou cenu poskytované péče, a proto alokace nákladů na případ resp. proces je jednou z těchto možností.

Abstract:

This presented thesis is focused on the calculation of the costs of the enterprise and its use in the provision payments for health care. The aim of the thesis is the analysis and description of the methodology for calculating the cost of inpatient cases at the University Hospital Brno and suggestion of possible changes. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and deals mainly with the costs classification, costs breakdown and costs calculations. The second part describes in detail the procedure for calculation the costs of inpatient care. It shows the method of allocation of the costs of the case, which was implemented at the University Hospital Brno. The calculation of these costs is important in the context of changes in the credit transfer mechanisms and providing the health care. Medical facilities should know true costs of provided care, there fore cost allocation per case or its process is one of these possibilities.
