Financing Higher Education in the CR and Russia

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje systém financování terciárního vzdělávání v České republice a v Rusku. Výdaje na vzdělání představují proces investování do budoucnosti nejen osobní, ale i celé společnosti. V současné době nabývá vzdělávání na významu a země, které budou v tomto ohledu dobře rozvinuty, mohou dosáhnout značné konkurenční výhody. Práce se věnuje komparaci systému terciárního vzdělání České republiky a Ruska se zeměmi OECD a zeměmi přidruženými. Popisuje současnou situaci vysokého školství v České republice a v Rusku, analyzuje problematiku zaměřenou na financování studia na veřejných vysokých školách. Práce se zaměřuje na současné problémy a nezbytnost změn v těchto problémových oblastech, zejména zvyšování podílu soukromých zdrojů na financování vysokých škol.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the system of financing tertiary education in the Czech Republic and Russia. Expenditure on education is the process of investing in the future not only individual but also society as a whole. Currently, education becomes more important and countries that are in this respect is well developed, can achieve significant competitive advantage. The work is devoted to a comparison of tertiary education, the Czech Republic and Russia, the countries of the OECD and associated countries. Describes the current situation of higher education in the Czech Republic and Russia, aimed at analyzing the problems of financing programs at public universities. The work focuses on current problems and the need for changes in these problem areas, particularly increasing the share of private resources to finance higher education.
