The impact of the pandemic and the pressure for digitalisation on the world trade with physical gold
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce si dává za cíl popsat světový obchod s fyzickým zlatem, a posoudit, jak dříve vzniklá digitální aktiva, např.: Bitcoin, a proběhlá pandemie Covid-19 ovlivnily světový obchod s fyzickým zlatem. Práce se snaží odpovědět na otázku, zda fyzické zlato je možné substituovat nějakým digitálním aktivem, nebo jde o komplementy.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis aims to describe the global trade in physical gold, and to assess how the earlier emergence of digital assets, e.g. Bitcoin, and the recent Covid-19 pandemic have affected the global trade in physical gold. The thesis seeks to answer the question of whether physical gold can be substituted by a digital asset or whether it is a complementary asset.
