System of mass transport in Bratislava county

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zhodnotit stav veřejné osobní dopravy v Bratislavském kraji analyzováním dopravní infrastruktury. V této práci je popsán současný stav a situace veřejné osobní dopravy v Bratislavském kraji. Model dopravy v tomto kraji byl založen ze zkušeností a poznatků osobní veřejné dopravy v jiném kraji. Práce rovněž poskytuje podrobnou dopravní infrastrukturu Bratislavského kraje s poukázáním na hlavní nedostatky zejména v plynulosti cestování, nedostatečné síti tramvajových linek, dálnic a rychlostních cest nebo vyhrazených jízdních pruhů pro taxi služby a autobusové linky. I přes rozbor těchto nedostatků tato práce také bere na vědomí úsilí města Bratislavy a okolních obcí v kraji snahu o zlepšení pohodlí cestujících během cesty, přidávání nových služeb, dokončení silničního okruhu kolem hlavního města a mnoho jiného.

Abstract:

The main essential of this Bachelor´s Thesis is to review the overall picture of current public mass transport systems in Bratislava county. This Thesis describes the current state and situation of mass transport in the region, which was inspired by the model of public transport in another region. This Bachelor’s Thesis also provides a detailed transport infrastructure of the Bratislava region, pointing out the main shortcomings, especially in the flow of travel, insufficient network of tram lines, highways and expressways or reserved lanes on roads for taxi services and bus lines. Despite the analysis of these shortcomings, this Thesis is also noting the efforts of the city of Bratislava and surrounding municipalities in the region to improve passenger comfort during the trip, add new services, complete the ring road around the capital city and much more.Key
