Abstract:
Záměr této práce je vysvětlení a popis zlomu v boji Afroameričanů za rasovou rovnoprávnost začínající v 19. století. Stručný popis událostí vedoucí k prvním krokům vzniku hnutí za občanská práva a detailní analýza hlavních událostí probíhajících v letech 1960 až 1963. Tato práce je silně zaměřena na přechod z pasivního přístupu k aktivnímu a nenásilnému odporu.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to explain and describe the shift in the struggle of African-Americans for the racial equality beginning in the late nineteenth century. A brief description of the events leading to the first formation of the civil rights movement and a detailed analysis of the main events taking place in years from 1960 until 1963.
