The Usage of Grapevine Byproducts for Cosmetics Products

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o využití vedlejších produktů z révy vinné, které vznikají při výrobě vína. V literární části seznamuje s botanickým přehledem révy vinné a s bioaktivními látkami, které jsou obsažené v révě vinné a zároveň jsou prospěšné pro lidskou pokožku. Jsou zde popsána složení semen a třapin, které jsou dále aplikovatelné v kosmetice. Tato problematika je také popsána z hlediska legislativního a z pohledu ekonomického využití. Z praktické části vyplývají postupy výroby a možnosti využití révy vinné pro kosmetické přípravky. V semenech a třapinách byly analyzovány polyfenolické sloučeniny metodou HPLC, dále také antioxidační aktivita metodou DPPH a obsah celkových polyfenolů pomocí Folin-Ciocaltelovy metody. Na závěr bylo provedeno vyhodnocení výsledků v podobě charakteristiky kosmetických přípravků a diskuze, která reflektovala vlastní výsledky analýz s výsledky jiných odborných prací.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis is focused on the utilization of grapevine byproducts which came from wine production. The literary review introduced the botanical overview of the grapevine and bioactive compounds, which are contained in the grapevine and are also beneficial for human skin. There are described the chemical substances of grape seeds and grape stems which are appplicable in cosmetics. This issue is also described from the legislative and economics point of view. In the experimental part resulted technology and possibilities of using grapevine for cosmetics products. In grape seeds and stems were analyzed polyphenolic compounds by HPLC method, antioxidant activity by DPPH method and content of total polyphenols per Folin-Ciocaltel method. In conslusion, it has been evaluated the results like characteristic of cosmetics products and discussions that were reflected the own results with the results of the other specialized works.
